As Freegle UK we agreed that if a Volunteer wanted to request a poll about some aspect of Freegle that concerns them, they were required to get 10% of Central members to support this.

The procedure for doing this was detailed here - http://wiki.ilovefreegle.org/10%25_Poll_Procedure

As Freegle Ltd we now have the Rules in place to safeguard against unpopular decisions by the Board. The principle remains firmly in place, however, that should a significant aspect of concern be raised, whether by a 'show-of-hands' poll on Central or other means, the Board will take these into account and Members ultimately have the processes of Rules 25 and 26 to use if necessary.
