However, Virgin Media also offer a freeview box that the customer buys, so they are fine to be offered and requested. We often get requests and offers for both Sky and Virgin boxes.
Sky boxes and dishes
The older ones are purchased and belong to the users. As such they are entitled to give them away to whomever they wish as long as they give them in good faith. Those receiving them are entitled to use them but only for legal activities.
