Freegle is mentioned on the Scope website - https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/equipment/used-equipment - as a place to pass on used disability equipment.

The Disability Living Foundation (DFL) website offers lots of factsheets giving advice on using a wide range of disability aids, which could be useful links for those asking for or receiving equipment.

Bottom line - it's a good thing to reuse aids, but important they are in good order.
